Derrick Owens-Lassic is a scrub who thought he was "All That" back in high school...Only to show that he couldn't cut it in the NFL with the big boys...Did you keep your rookie card, your ONLY card? Granted, I didn't play any professional sports but at least I'm still doing what I always dreamed about... Should've gone to OU...

It came to pass in the waning days of the second fall of the ascension of the Great Saban that a rebel force arose in the south of the land; a foul, malodorous lot yet mighty in deeds, a worthy foe. Battle was joined under the dome far to the east near the land of the bull pups, scions of the RichtMark.
Though hard fought, wherein the ebb and floe of momentum favored first one then the other, in the end the battle was lost and the Dark Lord suffered defeat. Many a moon had shown down upon the glory of the Promised Land since last he had tasted that bitter cup and grudgingly did that draught go down.
But no defeat is final for those who will rise from the ash-heap, like a great phoenix rising in a cloud of fire and fury, and, spying a new foe, descends in a scream of speed and spite to crush it asunder. Thus did the Dark Lord draw his troops near and recount a campaign of hardships overcome and foes vanquished. For, indeed, many an army bore the imprint of the heel of the Great Saban’s boot. “We may lose a battle,” spake He in that hour, “but through the power of The Process all things are possible and in the end we will win the war and take our place in honor and glory atop the Gridiron.” And a blood lust and thirst for battle grew in the Army of Saban and they sought about for whom they might dominate.
So it was that rumor grew of a power in the far west. “Perfect they are,” twas said. “They are mightiest in their region, possessing an empire of eight tributary lands.” But others found them wanting. “Their victories are many but their foes were weak,” they said. And the Great Saban cast a thoughtful eye upon these new comers, the Utes. “They have great ambitions and high expectations, this Urban spawn. We will travel south west, through swamp and fen, to the land of NOLA. There shall we set forth a bowl of sugar and they shall be drawn to it like ants. And there shall we grind them into dust.”
And the Great Saban called forth a Debbie cookie and a cup of coffee. And he ate and drank, and planned. And he saw all was aight.

TJ,
We are going to spend our off-season laughing at Aubarn. Finally, normalcy has been restored. The tractor mechanics will once again be relegated to the red headed step-children stereotype they so richly (but honestly, nothing is rich about that cow college) they deserve. War Cattle! Gene Chizik, you have been weighed, measured, and found wanting. May the good times Roll!

"The Dark Lord reached into his pocket, and he withdrew a Debbie cookie, and he offered it to his enemy, and said, ‘Eat.’ Shaking, the Great Ears drew it to his lips. But before his teeth could touch its creamy goodness, the Dark Lord’s mighty boot kicked it from his hands."
I spit beer on my keyboard when I read this line. Fucking marvelous job this season, dude. Easily the best bama blog to come into its own this year, despite some tough competition. Keep it up. What the fuck are we going to do with ourselves in the off-season? I don't want to think about it.
